Thomas Oberdorf
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Oberdorf was named Chief Executive Officer in October of 2017. Prior to this position, Oberdorf served as our Chief Financial Officer since 2011. Before his time at SIRVA, Oberdorf has held executive positions at several leading technology and business services companies. From 2008 to 2010,Oberdorf was CFO of Infogroup, a leading provider of innovative business data and marketing solutions for increasing customer acquisition and retention. From 2006 through 2008, Oberdorf was CFO of Getty Images, the world's leading creator and distributor of imagery, footage and multi-media products, as well as a provider of other forms of premium digital content.

Mr. Oberdorf holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Boston College and an EMBA from the University of New Haven. He is a member of the board of directors of UFP Technologies and also serves on that company's audit committee. As a result of his professional experiences, Oberdorf possesses particular knowledge and experience in manufacturing, accounting, finance, capital markets and public company experience that strengthen the Board's collective qualifications, skills and experiences.

Linda Smith
Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer

Linda Smith joined SIRVA in 2012. She brings with her a wealth of sales and marketing experience. As Chief Commercial Officer, she oversees SIRVA’s commercial global sales and account management teams. She is responsible for all global sales, marketing, account management, advertising, public relations, and new product development activities. She is also responsible for SIRVA’s global pricing, contracts, and RFP efforts.

Prior to joining SIRVA, Smith had a distinguished career with Ricoh, where she served as Vice President of Ricoh Global Services and Area Vice President of Field Sales Operations. Over her 18-year-career at Xerox, she held various executive positions, including Vice President and General Manager of Field Sales Operations, National Vice President of National Agent Channel Marketing, and Vice President of United States Marketing.

Throughout her career, Smith has focused on increasing sales and enhancing profitability all while providing quality customer service to clients.

Smith holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business management from the Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY).

Andrew P. Coolidge
President, Americas

Drew joined SIRVA in 2004 as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and was shortly promoted to the Vice President of Quality for Moving Services. In 2005 Drew became the Global Quality Leader for Moving Services, focusing on our global moving business quality. In 2006 Drew relocated to the Czech Republic as Vice President of EMEA Operations. He founded our EMEA Operational Center by consolidating several Western European Offices into a single entity located in Prague. He then was promoted to Vice President of Global Operations in 2007, returning to our US Headquarters in Westmont, IL. Later that year he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of our International Moving Business. In August 2009, Drew was promoted to Executive Vice President, Moving Services Operations and relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2017, Drew was promoted to President of International Moving and Chief Supply Chain & Operational Excellence Officer. In 2018, Drew and his family moved to London to serve as President of SIRVA Europe. In April 2019, he was named President and Chief Operations Officer for the Americas (including Canada, the USA, and Brazil).

Prior to joining SIRVA, Drew spent 11 years with Sears Roebuck & Company, mostly with The Great Indoors retail chain. His roles within Sears included Sales Manager, Inventory Buyer, Marketing Manager, Merchandise Buyer and Operations Manager. Drew received his Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Jacob George
President, Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle East

Jacob George is responsible for investing and growing operations in Europe, Asia and the Middle East by focusing on sound strategies for increasing market share, winning customers, entering new markets, commercializing new services and continuing to be innovative in regards to how we serve our customers.

George has over 20 years of experience in the relocation business, with extensive knowledge in sales, marketing, growth in geographies and product areas, client engagement and operations.

Prior to joining SIRVA in 2010, George was with Primacy as President of Asia for 3 years and was responsible for building one of the strongest and most successful relocation businesses in Asia. Under his leadership, Primacy expanded significantly in destination services through acquisitions and organic growth. He also helped Primacy expand geographically through gaining market share, opening new offices and winning new customers. Prior to joining Primacy, his career included working for Prudential as the Vice President of Asia for 11 years.

George holds a masters degree in business administration from the University of Dallas. He is also a member of the Employee Relocation Council, and has earned his Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation.

John Kirk
Executive Vice President & Chief Information and Technology Officer

John Kirk is SIRVA’s Executive Vice President & Chief Information and Technology Officer. Kirk joined SIRVA in September 2015. Kirk has been a leader of technology and IT over the last 15 years and before that he held executive positions on the business side in terms of sales, marketing, operations, procurement and supply chain.

Most recently, Kirk was the CIO for the Vitamin Shoppe, a leading publicly traded retail and ecommerce business with $1.3B in sales and 736 locations. Kirk led the technology and IT during a 50% increase in store count and ecommerce revenue, scaling the business for quality, customer service and profitability. He was responsible for strategic direction and all daily operations for technology, applications, operations, store systems, technical infrastructure, telecommunications, and cybersecurity and ecommerce platforms. Kirk led the IT team of 125 professionals and developed and implemented a multi-year IT strategic plan enabling the company to scale for growth. He created and implemented the application roadmap to upgrade and install leading new technologies. Under Kirk’s leadership, IT and technology increased speed to market by 30%, improved customer satisfaction significantly, increased uptime of IT systems to an impressive 99.995%, increased productivity of IT by 20% and established a leading ecommerce business.

Kirk holds a MBA from Seton Hall University where he graduated with honors and he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from La Salle University.

Margaret E. Pais
Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Meg Pais joined SIRVA in 2006 as Vice President of Human Resources for Relocation and took on the role of the Global HR Leader in 2009. When joining SIRVA in 2006, Pais led the Relocation Human Resources function focusing on operational excellence and human resources best practices, and responsibilities included change management initiatives, HR strategic planning including restructuring, attraction and retention of key talent, compensation and benefits, talent management and employee relations.

In 2009, Pais was promoted to Head of Human Resources, to include Domestic US, Asia Pacific, and Middle East, Europe and Australia/New Zealand. Responsibilities include change management initiatives, HR strategic planning including restructuring, attraction and retention of key talent, compensation and benefits committee responsibilities, and talent management and employee relations. Pais is also responsible for the Corporate Services functions to include buildings and leases, receptionists, records retention and facilities planning.

Prior to joining SIRVA, Pais spent 2 years with Dell Corporation and 8 years with Telxon Corporation, a wireless technology corporation. Her roles within Dell and Telxon included Manager Compensation and Benefits, Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources. Pais received her Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin Wallace College in Cleveland Ohio, and a Master’s of Science in Organizational Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio.

Steve Cassell
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Steve Cassell joined SIRVA in 2004 and has held a variety of leadership roles in both Finance and Operations throughout his tenure. Appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer in August of 2018, he is a strategic partner to our CEO, managing the company’s investments, advising on business planning and process changes, and playing a vital role in compliance, quality control and company strategy.

Prior to joining SIRVA, Steve was the CFO at Executive Relocation from 2000 to 2004, after holding various financial leadership roles at Boatmen’s Relocation in the Midwest. With over 25 years of experience in the relocation and moving industry, and a laser focus on finance and customer service, Steve brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his current role.

Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Missouri and a Masters in Business with an emphasis in Information Technology from St. Louis University.

JeffreyMargolis

Jeffrey Margolis 
Executive Vice President & General Counsel

Jeffrey H. (Jeff) Margolis began his career with SIRVA in 1996 as Assistant General Counsel of a relocation management company in Cleveland, Ohio that was acquired by SIRVA In 2002 and formed the basis of SIRVA Relocation. Jeff has held several leadership roles on the legal team and became General Counsel in 2013. Jeff is responsible for all legal and compliance matters for the company and manages the legal team. Jeff’s philosophy for the legal team is to work closely with the operations and account management teams at SIRVA to achieve effective and compliant results by helping clients understand the issues and challenges they face, and working to achieve optimal solutions.

Jeff continues to engage in industry activities including participation as Vice-Chairperson of the Worldwide ERC® Regulatory and Compliance Forum.

Prior to joining SIRVA in 1996, Jeff served as a law clerk in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, and then served for almost eight years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor in Cleveland, Ohio. Jeff has also worked in private practice, focusing on real estate. Jeff received his bachelor’s degree In economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Michigan and his Juris Doctorate degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.
